Managing your risk

• There are three basic questions that every trader should answer
BEFORE entering a trade.
1. How much do I believe the market will move and where do
I want to take my profit?
Limit Orders allow traders to exit the market at profit targets.
If you are short (sold) the system will only allow you to place a
Limit Order below the current market price because this is the
profit zone. Similarly, if you are long (bought) the system will
only allow you to place a limit order above the current market
price. Limit orders help create a disciplined trading
methodology and enables traders to walk away from the
computer without constantly monitoring the market

2. How much am I willing to lose before I exit the position?
A Stop top/Loss /order allows traders to set an exit point for a
losing trade. If you are short a currency pair the stop loss ord order er
should be placed above the current market price. If you are
long in the currency pair pair, the stop loss order should be placed
below the current market price. Stop/Loss orders help traders
control risk by capping losses. Stop/Loss orders are counter counter-
intuitive because you do not want them to be hit; however,
you will be happy that you placed them! When logic dictates,
you can control greed

3. Where should I place my stop and limit orders?
As a general rule of thumb traders should set Stop Orders closer to the opening price than limit orders. If this rule is followed, a trader needs to be right less than 50% of the time
to be profitable. For example, a trader that uses a 30 pip Stop/Loss and 100 pip limit orders needs only to be right 1/3 of the time to make a profit. Where the trader places the stop
and limit it will depend on how risk risk-adverse he/she is. Stop/Loss orders should not be so tight that normal market volatility knocks the position out. Similarly, Limit Orders
should reflect realistic expectation of gains given the markets trading activity and the length of time one wants to hold the position.

Crutchlow Can Compete for the Title of World Champion in 2020, If ...

Jakarta - Cal Crutchlow is believed to be able to compete for the 2020 MotoGP title. Only one thing to consider is the matter of restraint.

Crutchlow last season finished seventh in MotoGP. This LCR Honda rider once won in Argentina, finished second in Japan, then climbed the podium three in San Marino.

His position in the standings could have been better if he hadn't missed the last three series. The 33-year-old rider had to pull over because of an injury.

LCR boss Lucio Cecchinello thinks Crutchlow has a natural instinct as a rider and always has the potential to be a winner. It's just that, because of his great ambitions the British racer is often too brave to take risks.

"Cal is a rider who races with the heart. You can't ask Cal to force yourself to just finish the race. Cal needs to pursue victory, he is a free-spirited person who is used to racing for victory," said Cecchinello quoted by Autosport.

"Therefore he risks more than he should in a race. When you have a rider with characters like this, you can of course say 'we need to finish the race.' But in the end they have confidence, their own enthusiasm, and you can't forcing them to be someone else, "he added.

Having extended the contract until 2020, Crutchlow is expected to have a good season with LCR this season. Cecchinello even believes that there is a chance for his riders to compete for the world title if he starts to be able to restrain himself on a number of occasions.

"People like Cal, in the end they need to make a number of mistakes to understand their limits, how to correct weaknesses. I'm sure he can fight for titles, I will say maybe 2020," Cecchinello said.

"I believe 2019 will be a good season for us and for 2020, he can make one step forward, to limit himself, to find the right balance," he said. (raw / rin)

London - Jose Mourinho's career is full of titles. However, Mourinho considered Manchester United's second finish two seasons ago was one of his best achievements.

The Portugal coach has had a career of almost two decades. Starting from Benfica, Mourinho then climbed the class by handling top European teams such as Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and finally MU.

A total of 25 championship titles have been collected by Mourinho. The 55-year-old coach has never failed to win the league title where he trained (Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Madrid). He is also one of the few coaches who can win the Champions League title with different clubs (Porto and Inter).

However, Mourinho's achievements with MU were less flashy among his clubs before. For 2.5 years gushed the Red Devils, Mourinho gave three titles; Community Shield, League Cup, and Europa League.

MU became the only European top club that failed to bring Mourinho to the league, where his best position was to finish runner-up in 2017/18. Meanwhile, Mourinho's period at Old Trafford was highlighted more because the dressing room was less harmonious before finally being fired in December 2018.

Currently Mourinho is still resting training by accepting a job as a commentator on BeIN Sports. Mourinho indicated, there was a big challenge that was carried out while managing David de Gea cs.

"I consider one of the best jobs in my career is to finish second with Manchester United in the Premier League. You say 'this guy is crazy, he has won 25 championship titles and he said that second place is one of his best achievements'.

"I will continue to say it because people don't know what's happening behind the scenes and sometimes here we analyze many things with different perspectives," he continued.

"And also the reason why I am here (being a commentator) and I will accept it in the next period, where I should not work yet, also to know new football better and know new football also to understand what's behind the camera , "Mourinho added.
